My problem is...
Well its been a few weeks since my last update. Very little has happened on the Plot.
My Problem is I want to get on with things but with the cold weather drawing in there isn't much that I can be doing. I suppose you could say My Problem is a lack of Patience!
I wondered down to the plot this morning just to make sure that I did not have any post 5th November damage, Application has gone in for the Shed, Seeds etc have been ordered, Greenhouse Clean, just need to sort out the pathways between the beds, weed barrier and chipbark me thinks.
I have Plot Envy as well, found myself eyeing up someones Brussel Sprouts, thinking how good the would be for Christmas lunch.
I also have to stop myself tearing up Leeks and devouring them. Whats wrong with me!
One thing that has concerned me is the amount of produce on the site seems to be left to rot away, I know that it is going to be hard to get timings and quantities right but surely they must have Friends/Family that they could give the stuff to rather than leaving it to go to mush (& encourage disease/pests).
We are by far the youngest people on the site and if Im honest I get the feeling that some of them are awaiting our imminent failure.
Little do they know that we are aiming for the best newcomer title in 2012 and no amount of sniggering and huffing will put me off!
Sorry, feeling a bit grumpy as the Man Flu is taking hold now.
